The Office of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and the Fresno County Board of Education are dedicated to ensuring the success of the students of Fresno County, through the school districts we serve, by providing programs, support, oversight and training. We believe all students, whatever their circumstances or abilities, deserve the best education possible. AIMS Center for Math and Science Education
AIMS is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing playful, hands-on, and creative approaches to teaching and learning mathematics and science through professional development, learning partnerships, and community engagement. With over 30 years of experience in PK-12 STEM education, AIMS helps educators design rich and engaging learning environments, provides resources to communities and families, and bridges research and practice with colloquium events and research fellowships.
State Board of Education
The State Board of Education is California’s Kindergarten through Grade 12 policy-making body for academic standards, curriculum, instructional materials, assessments and accountability.
California Department of Education
The State of California is committed to building and strengthening an equitable, comprehensive, quality, and affordable child care and development system for the children and families in our state. There are many child care and development programs in California. These programs are for children from birth to age twelve. They offer early learning and after-school services to babies, toddlers, children in preschool, and children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Some programs assist children with disabilities and children of migrant farm workers. Many of the programs were set up to help parents with child care while they work.
WestEd
WestEd is a nonpartisan, nonprofit agency that conducts and applies research, develops evidence-based solutions, and provides services and resources in the realms of education, human development, and related fields, with the end goal of improving outcomes and ensuring equity for individuals from infancy through adulthood.
